PRESS: Russian cbank may give only extra 28 bln rbl for Bank Trust
MOSCOW, Sep 26 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank is ready to provide only 28 billion rubles extra funds for 12 years for bailout of Bank Trust, business daily Vedomosti reported Monday.
These are the conditions of a repeated tender to choose investors for the banks, the daily said. Only Otkritie Financial Corporation (FC) Bank, which was previously chosen to bail out Bank Trust, and Alfa-Bank took part in the tender, while Alfa-Bank withdrew its bid in early September.
In December 2015, Bank Trust already received 28 billion rubles for six years at 6.01% to support its current liquidity. A source told the daily the tender was held for possible prolongation of this amount.
